The luxury lodge tents are very spacious and wonderful for couples, families and groups alike. They are fully equipped with a kitchen, wood-burning range cooker/stove, dining table and chairs, comfy sofa, private loo and shower, and even a 4-poster bed. Each glamping tent is nestled in its own wooded area, overlooking one of the many meadows. The kitchen has a craftsman-made wooden kitchen unit, with butlers sink, brass style mixer taps and wooden drainer, as well as a country style dresser. Oil lanterns and solar fairy lights provide atmospheric lighting at night. You really have all you need!

BOOKING INFORMATION
Prices include ready-made beds, organic towels, flannels and kitchen linen. 
  • Arrival time: 4 pm - 6 pm.  Depature time: By 10 am.  Early arrival (from 2 pm) and late check out (by midday) can be booked in advance, subject to availability.  A £29 fee applies per option.
  • Deposit: 30% of total accommodation cost.  Balance: Due 10 weeks before start of holiday. 

  • Policy for families, couples and all-adult bookings: We endeavour to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere throughout our glamping season and therefore we restrict dates when we are able to accept bookings for all-adult groups (i.e. more than one couple in an accommodation unit).  

    Family-only dates are as follows: 2025: F 11 Apr to S 20 Apr, F 2 May - S 4 May, F 23 May – S 1 Jun, F 18 Jul – S 31 Aug, F 24 Oct- S 26 Oct (2024: F 5 Jul - M 2 Sep, F 25 Oct - F 1 Nov). Outside these dates we welcome adult groups at our discretion when our site policies have been agreed to. Details are listed in our Terms and Conditions.

  • Accommodation at Secret Meadows: 6 Luxury Lodge Tents including one with hot tub (tent 3 on map), a Two Storey Luxury Safari Tent, Gypsy's Rest and the Horsebox Hideaway. 'Luxury Lodge Tent (Elec & WIFI)' is set in a wooded area at the entrance to the main glamping meadow, close to the parking area.  All other tents are at the back of the main glamping meadow.  The Horsebox Hideaway is in its own meadow next to the main glamping meadow.

  • Accommodation options with electricity: Luxury Lodge Tent (elec. & WIFI), the Two Storey Tent and the Horsebox Hideaway.
  • Group Bookings/Full Site Bookings: We can advise which glamping accommodation options would work best.  We can place group bookings via email/telephone.  There is only the option to book one accomodation unit at a time when booking at our website.
  • Pet Policy: Dogs are welcome throughout the glamping season.   A £29 fee (per dog) applies. Ideally max 1 large dog or 2 medium dogs per accomm. (1 small dog in Horsebox Hideaway). Please see our Terms and Conditions. We have an enclosed Dog Park accessible from the glamping meadow in which dogs can enjoy a run around off the lead. Please note dogs are not permitted outside of the glamping area as the nature reserve has a no dogs policy.  
  • Activities availability: Please note all activities are subject to availability.  Activities will not be available during certain periods due to staff holidays and we can confirm availability on enquiry. In 2025: Activities are not available between 24-31 May and 11-21 July with other dates subject to availability.

THOSE LITTLE EXTRA TOUCHES

Choose from a range of tempting packages. We've included a few practical hire items too.

 

Private hen coop hire: Your own hen coop at your tent with friendly hens to provide you with fresh eggs. We supply you with hen feed and bedding so that you can look after them during your stay. Eggs are not guaranteed but an entertaining experience is!

£29 per weekend/midweek or £35 per week

YOUR OWN HEN COOP
FARM PANTRY

We source most of the food in The Pantry shop from our local farm shop with a variety of high quality, locally sourced food and drink. If you don’t find all you need here, Grange Farm Shop is less than ten minutes away by car.  Also, locally sourced meat and fish can be ordered from the farm shop.

 

 

Some of the items on sale in the farm pantry (the list below gives a good indication of products but stocks vary).  We no longer stock fresh food but we do sell milk as well as stone-baked pizzas, ice creams and croissants/breakfast pastries in the freezer.

 

Essentials
Milk, eggs, locally-made jam, Suffolk honey, fairtrade sugars, fairtrade hot chocolate, fairtrade teas, herbal tea, fairtrade coffee beans (for the coffee grinder provided), local rapeseed oil, pasta, rice.

 

For added flavour

Pasta/pizza sauce, Stokes (locally made) sauces, chutney, cider vinegar, sea salt, black pepper, dried mixed herbs.

 

For a good start to the day
Organic cereals and porridge oats, farm-pressed apple juice, frozen croissants and/or pain au chocolat.

 

For a snack temptation
Tyrells crisps, gluten-free quinoa/lentil crisps, olives.

 

For refreshment
Belvoir sparkling pressés, farm-pressed apple juice, fruit cordials.

 

For those hot summer days
Local ice-cream mini tubs, ice lollies.

Biscuits, chocolate buttons and bars, tubs of sweets, marshmallows (for toasting at your campfire).
